Which LEGO themes come with the most minifigures?

Minifigures per set for every LEGO theme with at least 30 sets: how many sets include a figure, the average per set, and the set with the most, computed from the catalog.

Some themes are about the figures; some barely include one. This table gives, for every theme with at least 30 sets, the share of sets that include a minifigure, the average number per set, and the set with the most. It is computed from the catalog when the page loads. Multi-set bundles and chess sets are excluded from the "most" column, since they would top every list.

Across the whole catalog, 8,740 of 18,273 sets (48%) include at least one minifigure.

What the numbers show

• Collectible Minifigures sits at the top by construction: every "set" is a figure.
• Licensed themes cluster high. Characters are what the licence buys, so most sets carry several.
• Technic, Creator Expert, Architecture and the botanical lines sit at the bottom. They are building themes; a figure would be out of scale.
• City and Friends sit in the middle with a figure in almost every set but rarely more than three.
